It's that weird time of year where our long-term, mainstay clients are in their summer double issue cycles, so we're still working on their magazines, but also able to focus more on some of the other ongoing projects we have moving forward at any particular time. Yesterday, we photographed a beautiful Wilson Audio loudspeaker for the upcoming July/August 2025 issue of The Absolute Sound. Instead of shooting in the studio, photographer Matt Wright-Steel and I travelled to a local high-end audio dealer to shoot the speaker in their space. It was a little cramped, not gonna lie, but we had the (usual) revelation that limitations always result in better work. I cant post the final photography, but here are some more shots from Hipstamatic, my new (again) favorite iPhone app.
