It's been a while since we made the premiere issue of Hornmag. We have no idea if there will be an issue 2 - does anyone even care? Probably not, but we did have fun making it, which I think is the most important point. A bunch of us who work together regularly all needed to make something cool, so we did.

When we were putting this issue together, we were really struggling to decide who and what should be on the cover. We had Turk Pipkin - an amazing human being. He is one of those guys who has done so much, both in his professional life as an actor, and his life as an individual who works tirelessly to bring a quality of life to anyone, regardless of location, color, creed, or circumstance. He was the obvious choice at first.

Then we had two style features, completely different from each other, and both equally worthy of being on the cover. Eventually we went with the one style feature that we thought would be the most compelling upon first glance, based on color and attention-grabbiness (sorry if I am using too many scientific terms).
